
We have a Sports & Social committee. Throughout the year, they organise group events for our staff. It gives them a chance to bond and gives us the opportunity to reward them for their commitment and efforts. In the last year, these have included a Masquerade Ball, a summer garden party with games and activities and numerous quiz nights alongside our annual Black Tie Christmas party.
Of course we do offer our staff the option of joining the private medical health scheme, paid for by us. We offer childcare vouchers, contributory pension, interest free travel loans, access to a financial adviser and an eye care scheme.
We also want working for PlusOne to feel different. So we offer free membership to a local gym and the use of a company apartment in southern Spain. Our office is even equipped with a Well-Being room, where we hold a multitude of free classes including Yoga, Street Dance and Body Conditioning. We even offer regular seated massages to all our staff.
We encourage our staff to consider their own health and Wellness in our regular Well-Being Weeks. Within these weeks we offer Health assessments, more massages, more fitness activities and forums for advice on a range of issues from stopping smoking to learning a new skill or ways to help in our local community.
More than 1 in 3 of our vacancies are filled by candidates who have had PlusOne recommended to them as an employer by one of our current members of staff.
We know from our own experience that for every £1 spent on the wellness of our staff, up to £3 will be delivered in savings due to decreased absence and higher staff retention also the profits from the repeat business of our customers and clients.
